Another rose on black. I'm liking this series and I think they may serve as good studies for a large work. I'm considering a black mandala, like my "Flower Mandala #1" but done with a lot of darks instead of all the whites and lights I used in #1. But that's going to be a lot harder. so if any of you artists out there have suggestions for me - please leave a comment. I needed room for inspiration and spur-of-the-moment choices when I painted "Flower Mandala #1" but making additions and changes on black, even while wet, will be hard!
