New paintings, hot off the easel, and some thoughts on art and life ...

Here's the last of my sunflower paintings, at least for a while. I finished it yesterday then went back to work on my large still life of tulips and lisianthus.

I have several 'next' paintings planned. The large still life is going well but I'm taking it slowly.  I'm thinking of starting a large painting of trees, and I also want to do a figurative painting. My mind is always ahead of my brush!
