New paintings, hot off the easel, and some thoughts on art and life ...

Drum roll please, Mr. Music Man - I've put up the first five paintings from my new project, An Artist's Year in the Garden. There's a new collection under the "Paintings" tab on my website, so take a look there. An Artist's Year in the Garden is basically me painting flowers from my garden every day for a year (my blog post about it is here).

The five paintings I've just added are from Nov. 1 - 8 (I know that's seven days, but I get weekends off, remember?) So far I like doing this, and I can see how much it's going to help me grow as a painter. Keep visiting and I'll post new paintings. I'll often add information for gardeners on each painting's info page. I'm not sure yet if I'll have a regular schedule for posting - how about you come by here and check whenever you have time, or you're bored at work? I'll try to have something for you to look at quickly before the boss catches you.
